The food at the restaurant is excellent, especially the Peking roasted duck. If you visit on a non-holiday, the service is usually good, and the dishes are served quickly. However, if you go during the holidays, you may experience long wait times to place your order. Once your food is ordered, it will be served quickly. The restaurant seems to struggle with staff during busy periods, and the owner often appears flustered during those times.

I recently needed to celebrate birthday and miss Peking duck so I decided to come here. I felt imperial treasure is way overpriced and Beijing Duck House is closed on Tuesday so I came here. But honestly I'm pleasantly surprised at how delicious some of the food has become. Maybe they improved their cooking but I decided to give them 4 stars instead of the typical 3 I would have given for food before. The missing one star has a lot to do with how long it took for us to get our food. Maybe it's because they were busy but we wait over an hour for our food including the duck that we pre-ordered. Otherwise I think their duck is really good deal because they gives you a lot of sauce and the wraps so you don't necessarily have to order extra wraps like other places do. The other dishes are not bad either especially the boiling fish because it's really delicious. Even the cauliflower was well made. I think this place definitely deserves coming back more often because the quility of cooking went up. The service can be slow because they are so busy and I like the availability of those semi private spaces.

Our go to place for Peking duck. Some other dishes are good and bad, depending what you order. I would go back.

The roasted duck here is absolutely fantastic--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The rest of the menu is decent and has its own charm, but the duck truly stands out. Be sure to call ahead to reserve it; it's definitely worth the effort. Thank you for such a memorable dining experience!

We decided to try some Beijung Cuisine, so this restaurant was a good fit. The atmosphere was casual, the wait staff were quite nice, but their English was limited. The food was very good, the taste was sour and a little spicy. Two of our party were advanced in age, so the food was quite suitable for them. The restaurant was quiet enough that we could talk and be heard by each other. If you are in the mood for soupy dishes, this place is for you. The restaurant is a good place to try a different kind of Chinese cuisine, if you are used to eating the traditional Cantonese cuisine in the Bay Area and want to eat something different.

One of the best Beijing restaurants in the Bay Area imo. Peking duck is a must try (you need to make advanced reservation). Other dishes are also super authentic and tasty.

There's a new and revised menu. Whatever was on Yelp should be removed. Taking some risks, we ordered Peking duck, Fish Head With Pancake, and lamb skewers to go. The first two are definitely not typical as to-go things. Surprised! They were good. I like my Peking duck "skin only" and forgot to specify. They sliced it "skin and meat together." The sauce and condiments were well done, and the pancakes well suited for home reheating. The fish head is a thing in Beijing. The US version of the same dish features much smaller fish heads. Other than that, the dish was quite authentic, including the pancakes to be soaked in the sauce. We scrapped together the left-over sauce and add some tofu to it. It was delicious as a new dish.
